I haven't stopped thinking about Saturday. I had a really fun experience and got to put a notch in my belt lol :) But what I can't stop thinking about is what my reallllllly good friend said to me. My brotha from anotha motha....lol ;) It meant so much to hear those words and meant more to hear them from this person. I thank them for standing up for me, believing in me and caring for me. I for once in my life felt like someone had my back for real. For once in my life sincere words were spoken. Even though this person hides their feelings they were kind enough at a moment when I needed it to show them to me.
Isn't it weird....When you loose faith...and Want to just say "FUCK IT" Something happens. Makes you want to keep going. How does the universe know at that exact moment you need a push in the right direction? Like what I just said...A Friend who I know loves me and cares about my well being but would never come out and say it, what changed their mind to tell me how they feel. Someone who NEVER tells anyone how they feel. What made them want to say that right at that moment in time and why to me?
Even though it was a friend just talking to a friend it made me feel like the most special person in the world. Not many people are kind enough to share a piece of themselves with you. And I think it meant way more coming from someone who doesn't share a piece of themselves with anyone.
So maybe there are still people out there like me. I just have to weed through like hundreds of people to find that one. Thank you for being my friend and thank you for being there for me when I needed something and someone!!!!! I hope I have done the same for you and I hope in the future I can be there again!!!
